I’ve actively used and tested this Adorra Travel System stroller for the last nine months, so you could say that I know the ins-and-outs of this thing. I’m going to cover what I love about this stroller, what could be improved, and how I decided to go with this one, when there are oh, so many options out there.

Here is my video review:

Pros and Cons at a glance:

Pros:
Travel system allows for easy transportation from car to stroller, without any unbuckling and re-buckling of the baby.
+ Very cushiony, the baby must be feeling like he’s riding around in an old fashioned Cadillac.
+ Very roomy. LOTS of storage space below.
+ Adjustable handlebar, good for taller Dads.
+ Big wheels, good for cracks in the sidewalk
+ Stroller ‘seat’ is removable, which is great for folding in the trunk of the car.
+ Easy to fold and unfold
+ Good mid-level price point
+ Looks like an upscale stroller
+ Low center of gravity (very unlikely to ever tip over)
+ Easy clicking seat adjustment, 3 options – Flat, angled, and sitting. (I prefer this instead of the ‘rope-tie’ adjustment that is common in other strollers)

Cons:
– Front wheels may stick (but easy to correct with one application of WD-40)
– Low center of gravity makes it a bit hard to prop over sidewalk curbs
– Foam covering of handlebars can be prone to ripping
– Car seat requires attachment pieces
– Car seat is quite large
– Difficult to control with one hand
– Luxury cushiony feel of car seat and carriage can get hot in warm weather

Bottom line: You don’t need to spend $1,000+ on the trendy UppaBaby stroller that everyone seems to have. And the $200-300 travel systems by Chicco or Graco are a fine value, but they are heavier, not as adaptable, and less sleek.

OVERALL: GOOD BUY, GREAT STROLLER.
RATING:  [usr 4.5 size=30]
